Personalized Cartoon Beats Control

       The challenge: how to get a personalized cartoon on the outer envelope using equipment capable of handling a Publishers Clearing House multi-million piece roll out.

       I came up with the show-through idea, conceptualized the cartoon, adapted the existing control package to make it work in this format, and worked closely with the art director and print buyer to overcome design and production obstacles.

       The control package had a non-personalized Ziggy cartoon on the outer envelope.

       My package beat the control.
